History of School:

The School was established by catholic missionaries and first served as a feeder school to Monoitu or Mamarego which already had a Parish status. It was established as a Primary School in 1962 when Haisi was elevated to a Parish Status. Its feeder schools then were Murua and Sininnai.

They are now elevated to full Primary School Status.

Many former students are now holding responsible positions in both the public and private sectors such as the former Director General of the Office of Higher Education Dr. William Tagis, as well as the current Regional member for Bougainville Hon. Joe Lera. Some are working overseas.

It was one of the first schools to open after the crisis.
